Serbian-Slovak relations are characterized by a long and rich history, marked by deep and multidimensional cooperation in the fields of politics, diplomacy, economics, business, culture, art and science. The organization of the scientific conference and the publication of the thematic collection represent the first step in establishing joint scientific cooperation between three prestigious institutions: the Institute for Political Studies in Belgrade, the Archives of Vojvodina in Novi Sad and the Faculty of Philosophy of the Maciej Bel University in Banska Bystrica.
