БУДУЋИ ГЕОПОЛИТИЧКИ ОБРАСЦИ И БАЛКАНСКЕ ДРЖАВЕ – ПРЕДВИЂАЊЕ ИЗ ПЕРСПЕКТИВЕ КОЛИНСОВЕ ГЕОПОЛИТИЧКЕ ТЕОРИЈЕ

Abstract

Рад пружа предвиђање будућих геополитичких образаца који се тичу балканских држава, и то путем (методолошког) проширења претпоставки које нуди геополитичка теорија Рендала Колинса, у виду конструкције Индекса геополитичке позиције. У целини, показује се да су балканске државе дугорочно искључене из могућности стицања кумулативних предности као предуслова даље експанзије. Услед тога, њихова позиција у структури геополитичких односа им дaje карактер унутрашњих држава, које уколико нису подређене експанзивној сили, покрећу емпиријски потврђен низ конфронтација и фрагментација на мање јединице. Ипак, анализа је показала да се Европска унија може условно одредити као експанзивна сила у датом геополитичком кон­тексту. Стога, однос Балкана и Европске уније показује текући процес проширивања експанзивне силе, услед чега се барем у средњорочном периоду може очекивати опадање или замрзавање супротстављености, као и фрагментација на мање јединице које карактеришу унутрашње државе попут балканских. Свакако, овај тренд je условљен претпоставком да Европска унија поседује релативно кохерентан геополитички интерес.
